Dr. Farrar is a psychiatrist with clinical and research expertise in neuropsychiatric conditions affecting cognition, behavior, and mood. Her work focuses on the interface between neurological illness and psychiatric symptoms, including traumatic brain injury, cognitive impairment, and mood disorders.
Since 2021, Dr. Farrar has conducted disability evaluations for federal programs, including comprehensive psychiatric and neurocognitive assessments and written medical opinions regarding functional impairment. Beginning in 2025, she expanded her medicolegal work to include workers’ compensation evaluations.
Her clinical practice and research background emphasize the assessment of brain–behavior relationships, psychiatric sequelae of neurological injury, and complex questions of psychiatric causation and disability. Dr. Farrar provides independent, objective medical evaluations based on review of the available medical evidence.
