Dr. Lopez expertise is Mood Disorders, and Perinatal and Reproductive Psychiatry, including the diagnosis and treatment of postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, postpartum psychosis, depression in pregnancy, anxiety, PTSD, and suicide. Dr Lopez is also an expert in psychopharmacology and in treatment-resistant depression. He has served in several national advisory boards and has published and lectured extensively in the areas of mood disorders, stress, suicide, perinatal psychiatry and psychopharmacology.
