I have been in the full-time private practice of neurology continuously since completing a neurology residency and EMG fellowship in 1983 at Boston University. My active ABMS board certifications include neurology, pain medicine, sleep medicine, and clinical neurophysiology. Active non-ABMS board certifications include medical acupuncture, EMG, and EEG. My clinical practice is 1/3 general neurology, 1/3 pain medicine, and 1/3 sleep medicine. About 98% of my professional time is spent in direct patient care.
