I have been a practicing comprehensive ophthalmologist and specialized vitreoretinal surgeon since 1996. While serving as Assistant Clinical Professor at Texas Tech University, I gained extensive expertise in managing complicated eye disorders, ocular surgical complications, eye trauma, and eye infections. I have utilized my clinical experience in work as a QA/UR reviewer for many carriers as well as in reviewing and being both a defense and plaintiff expert witness for ophthalmology malpractice and personal injury cases.
