Ophthalmology - Dr. Desai earned both his B.S. and M.D. from Stanford, followed by both residency and glaucoma fellowship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, ranked as one of the top 10 medical centers in the nation. He won the 2013 Society of Heed Fellows Award, one of only 10 honorees across the nation. He has offices in Edison, East Brunswick, Freehold, and Toms River. Dr. Desai regularly teaches other eye doctors how to avoid incorrect diagnoses in eye care. He specializes in cataract surgery and glaucoma.
