He currently serves as Chief of Pain Medicine, Director of the Pain Treatment Center, and Associate Professor of Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Dr. Carinci trained at Johns Hopkins and completed fellowship training in Pain Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School, where he later served on the faculty and as a pain center director.
