As a practicing neurointensivist and stroke neurologist, my clinical expertise is in stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), headache disorders and other central nervous system disorders. As a clinician-scientist, I have extensive background in research with over 40 peer-reviewed publications. My IME report is evidence-based and incorporates the most up-to-date literature and knowledge on the topic.
I received my undergraduate degree at Cornell University, medical degree at University of Florida, completed internship at Harvard Medical School (Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center), completed Neurology residency at Harvard Medical School (Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham & Women’s Hospital), and completed Neurocritical Care fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. I was awarded the fellow status from American Academy of Neurology and American Heart Association for my clinical and academic achievement.
I have extensive academic research background with over 40 peer-reviewed publications. My earlier work on cerebral blood flow physiology in hemorrhagic stroke patients was recognized and awarded the 2008 Young Investigator Award by the Neurocritical Care Society and the 2009 Founders Award by the American Academy of Neurology.
