Nonsurgical General orthopedic practice for the evaluation and treatment of traumatic, degenerative and overuse injuries to the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand and fingers. Lower extremities to include hips, knees, foot and ankle. Disease and injury to the cervical, thoracic and lumbosacral spine. Diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis and fragility fractures.
I am a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with 22 years of surgical experience practicing as a busy General Orthopedic Surgeon, extensive emergency room coverage at 3 community hospitals with 15-18 calls a month. Surgeries involved primarily trauma and sports. Extensive experience with fragility fractures in the elderly involved in low energy slip and falls resulting in fracture. Well versed in traumatic, overuse and degenerative orthopedic ailments including tendon ligamentous, cartilage, bone and nerve injuries about the extremities and spine. I am Military-trained, 13 years US Army, 2 years at Fort Benning, home of the U.S. Army Airborne School. 11 years IME/Expert witness with deposition and trial experience. Impairment ratings using AMA 6th Edition.
My practice well suited to consistently produce exceptional IME/CME's in a timely fashion that address MMI, impairment, causation, appropriateness of care and available for deposition and trial when called upon.
