I have been in private practice for over 30 years treating a wide variety of patients. In addition, I was a Residency Training Director for seven years, Medical Director of a psychiatric hospital for seven years, worked in two correctional facilities for three years and in a Department of Veterans Affairs’ outpatient clinic for over thirteen years. I have also taught Drexel University medical students for over ten years. As a result of my clinical experience, I have a particular expertise in the area of psychiatric disability issues, employment issues, victims of sexual abuse, and Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, as well as assessing psychiatric damages in medical and surgical malpractice defense cases. In addition to being deposed multiple times, I have also testified in court on a number of occasions, including at Federal Bankruptcy Court in Wilmington, Delaware, regarding the psychiatric impact of victims of sexually abusive priests in the Diocese of Wilmington. I pride myself on thoroughness, accuracy and opinions that can be supported by clinical examination and scientific evidence, as well as a careful medical and legal record review.
