Dr. Brian Lee is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician with more than 15 years of clinical experience and extensive physician leadership, quality-improvement, and peer-review experience. He has served as an Emergency Department Chairman for more than 10 years, chaired hospital-wide performance improvement activities, and participated in surgical and multidisciplinary quality-review committees. Dr. Lee provides independent medical examinations, medical record reviews, standard-of-care evaluations, causation assessments, and expert consultation for attorneys, insurers, and other organizations. His clinical expertise includes emergency department evaluation and management, sepsis, trauma, acute cardiovascular and neurologic emergencies, infectious disease, medication-related issues, and the recognition and stabilization of critically ill patients. He is available for plaintiff and defense matters and approaches each case objectively, with an emphasis on evidence-based medicine, clear communication, and practical analysis of the medical record.
