Dr. Marshall G. Miles is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon with more than two decades of active clinical experience. He practices within a major health network and has extensive experience treating complex traumatic, reconstructive, burn, wound, hand, facial, and aesthetic conditions. His clinical experience includes practice at a Level I Trauma Center and the region’s burn center. Dr. Miles has held significant academic and leadership positions, including Associate Chief of Plastic Surgery and Plastic Surgery Residency Program Director, and holds academic faculty appointments. He has extensive experience evaluating surgical care, injuries, complications, functional and aesthetic outcomes, and the need for future treatment or reconstruction. IME areas of focus include scars and disfigurement; burns; facial trauma and reconstruction; hand and upper-extremity injuries; wounds; soft-tissue injuries; surgical and postoperative complications; cosmetic and reconstructive surgery; breast and body-contouring procedures; and traumatic injuries requiring plastic surgical evaluation. Evaluations may address diagnosis, causation, medical necessity, prognosis, permanency, impairment, functional and aesthetic consequences, appropriateness of prior treatment, and anticipated future medical or reconstructive care.
