He completed a fellowship in joints and lower extremity reconstruction at Scripps Green Hospital, La Jolla, California (2014–2015), following his orthopaedic surgery internship and residency at LA County/University of Southern California (2009–2014). He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of California, San Diego (2004–2009) and a Bachelor of Science in Computational Biology and Biomedical Ethics from Brown University (1999–2003).
