Michael John Lim, MD, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (July 28, 2017) and a Qualified Medical Evaluator in orthopaedic surgery (2022), both achieved on first attempt. He completed a fellowship in joints and lower extremity reconstruction at Scripps Green Hospital, La Jolla, California (2014–2015), following his orthopaedic surgery internship and residency at LA County/University of Southern California (2009–2014). He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of California, San Diego (2004–2009) and a Bachelor of Science in Computational Biology and Biomedical Ethics from Brown University (1999–2003). Dr. Lim currently practices at Select Orthopedic Specialist in Los Angeles, California (2022–present). Prior roles include Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group in Santa Cruz, California (2019–2022), Eastern Medical Group in Tolland, Connecticut (2018–2019), Surgical Associates of Milford, P.C. (2017–2018), and Middlesex Orthopedic Surgeons, P.C. (2015–2017).
