Education: Dr. Brittany Cerbone obtained her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with major area of focus in Neuropsychology from the University of Houston in 2020. She then completed her clinical psychology internship at the Phoenix VA Healthcare System and a two-year fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology at Barrow Neurological Institute. Dr. Cerbone has been board certified in Clinical Neuropsychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) since 2025. Employment: Dr. Cerbone is a consultant clinical neuropsychologist at Neurocognitive Specialty Group (NSG), a nationwide network of clinical psychologists and neuropsychologists specializing in forensic and clinical evaluations. She also holds a clinical faculty position at UT Health in San Antonio, where she assesses adults with a variety of neurological, medical, and psychiatric conditions. Forensic Specialty Areas: Dr. Cerbone conducts IMEs in matters involving traumatic brain injury, cognitive impairment, and neuropsychiatric conditions. She has experience in cases involving the Defense Base Act (DBA) and personal injury. Dr. Cerbone has also conducted record reviews and peer reviews related to traumatic brain injury (TBI) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) claims. She is an approved neuropsychologist within the NFL Concussion Settlement Program. Research: Dr. Cerbone remains engaged in research through UT Health San Antonio, with particular interest in aging, dementia, multicultural factors, and performance validity testing.
