Dr. Loch started his medical education at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. After graduating medical school, he completed a highly competitive residency in anesthesiology at the University of Florida in Gainesville. While there, he developed a passion for treating patients with complex spine, joint, and nerve pathology. Staying at the University of Florida, he was selected for an elite fellowship in interventional pain management to train with nationally recognized leaders in the field. Dr. Loch is board certified in both anesthesiology and interventional pain management by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He is very experienced in image guided interventional procedures, having personally performed over 10,000 spine, joint, and nerve injections. He is active at several hospitals, being both a consulting physician and member of the credentialing committee. Dr. Loch has also been involved with numerous professional societies including the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP), North American Spine Society (NASS), American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (ASRA), and has held leadership positions in the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA). He has presented at national meetings for several professional organizations including ASRA, the Florida Society and Anesthesiologists, and the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association. Dr. Loch is also a stem cell and platelet rich plasma specialist having completed additional years of training with the Interventional Orthobiologics Foundation and is part of the highly selective Regenexx physician network. Also active with research, Dr. Loch is an investigating physician for several FDA approved trials including a stem cell trial for low back pain and treatments for sciatic pain, migraines, and fibromyalgia. Dr. Loch is also a certified health coach and a certified medical exercise specialist by the American Council on Exercise.
