He is also a Clinical Professor of Pulmonary Medicine at HCA Florida Largo Hospital. His board certifications include internal medicine, sleep medicine, critical care, and pulmonary medicine. With 38 years of experience in medicine, Dr. Averill is a nationally renowned speaker on healthcare issues and has been featured on TV and radio.
