Dr. Jesse Smotherman is a Clinical Neuropsychologist. He earned his B.S. from Louisiana State University, his M.S. from the University of North Texas, and his Ph.D. from the University of North Texas. He completed an APA-accredited internship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, with a specialized track in clinical neuropsychology, before completing a two-year APPCN postdoctoral residency in clinical neuropsychology at Ochsner Health in the Department of Neurology. In addition to research and teaching experience, as well as years of practice as a psychometrist, Dr. Smotherman has received extensive training from board-certified neuropsychologists across a wide array of academic medical centers, VA hospitals, community-based clinics, inpatient units, and private practices, including: Ochsner Hospitals/Clinics, Dallas VA Hospital, OKC VA Hospital, University of Oklahoma Medical Center, OU Children’s Hospital, Baylor Memory Center, UNT Psychology Clinic, and LSUHSC Psychiatry Department, among others.
