Additional Information
I am a clinical psychologist specializing in forensic psychology and neuropsychology with over 10 years of experience in assessing, treating, and consulting on psychological disorders. I completed a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology and specialized training in forensic psychology at Patton State Hospital, the largest forensic hospital in the country. I specialize in providing comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for traumatic brain injury (TBI), concussions, dementia, complications from a stroke, neurocognitive disorders, substance-induced cognitive impairment, chronic pain, PTSD, emotional distress, mood and anxiety disorders, learning disabilities, and ADHD. I have been retained, qualified as an expert, and testified in criminal and civil cases in local, state, and military courts for cases involving psychological (e.g., PTSD, emotional distress, discrimination, chronic pain) and neuropsychological issues (e.g., TBIs, strokes, alcohol-induced blackout, and other neurocognitive disorders). I have completed forensic psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for immigration hearings, civil and criminal competency, personal injury, worker's compensation, pre-employment, and fitness for duty. I also provide consultation services to personal injury and worker's compensation attorneys on psychological and neuropsychological-related matters. I complete evaluations for both defense and plaintiff attorneys (approximate 50/50 mix). I am appointed to the Los Angeles Juvenile Court Expert Witness and Competency Panel and Adult Criminal Court Expert Witness Panel. I conduct psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for attorneys and the court for criminal proceedings for mental health diversion and mitigation, violence risk, and competency to stand trial.
