Dr. Akor is a primary participant in her hospital’s trauma call rotation, managing acute ocular injuries and emergent ophthalmic conditions. She previously served as Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where she participated in trauma call at one of the largest and busiest medical centers in the country.
