Dr. Chen currently practices full time in private practice in the Inland Empire in Southern California. He is active in treating patients with musculoskeletal injuries, spine injuries, joint injuries, auto accidents, nerve injuries, chronic pain syndromes, neck pain, back pain, joint pain, and nerve pain. He routinely performs disability & independent medical evaluations and uses the AMA Guides for rating impairment. Dr. Chen is an Assistant Professor at Western University of Heath Sciences, and has taught trainees at all levels and continues to be active in the education of medical students and trainees. Dr. Chen is dedicated to clinical research and the advancement of the field of Pain Medicine. He has presented at multiple national conferences, including Association of Academic Physiatrists, American Academy of Pain Medicine, American Pain Society, and American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. His works have also been accepted for publication in various journals, such as Pain Medicine, Pain Practice, International Journal of Rehabilitation Research, and Ultrasound. In addition, Dr. Chen was a co-author of The Pain Center Manual.
