Dr. Mehta obtained her B.S from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She went onto graduate from Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine to receive her doctorate. After completing her surgical residency she went into private practice. She has been successful in private practice for over 10 years, owning her own 2 practices one in Detroit Michigan and one in Toledo Ohio. She remains current with her specialty by attending multiple seminars yearly and staying in contact with prominent doctors throughout the country.
