Additional Information

Dr. Ahdoot obtained her medical degree from MCP 1-Hahnemann school of medicine in Philadelphia and completed her pediatric residency training at LA County USC. She provides expert consultation and testimony on pediatric medicine topics in family, civil, criminal, and juvenile matters presenting to civil and criminal state, or federal, or military courts. Dr. Ahdoot describes the standards of care germane to the malpractice suit, identifies any breaches in those standards, and renders an opinion as to whether those breaches resulted in personal injury. She provides independent, impartial, and unbiased evidence to a judge or jury about the facts of the case involving but not limited to medical malpractice, negligence, personal injury, and pharmaceutical companies. She takes a wholesome approach to every case, looking at all details and surrounding circumstances while including peer-reviewed research to support her opinions. The case is discussed in medical and non-medical terms when necessary, to elucidate and distinguish malpractice from malocurrence. Dr. Ahdoot conducts independent medical exams whereby she reviews a patient's background and history and conducts a thorough physical exam while reviewing pertinent medical records for the current injury and illness and any preceding medical conditions. This is done in a thorough manner and includes a review of pertinent imaging and laboratory studies. She conducts interviews of third parties regarding the person’s injury/trauma, physical and mental health history, and current level of functioning. Drawing upon this data Dr. Ahdoot will draft a report with details about the person's current health, the cause or causes of any conditions, and whether any lifestyle or preexisting factors contribute to the person’s current condition. Treatment and the effectiveness of treatment will be outlined as well as the inclusion of the medical evidence for the patient's various symptoms.
